Anambra Guber: Andy Uba looses APC primary election to Tony Nwoye

According to PremuimTimes report, Tony Nwoye has been declared winner of the Anambra State governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The 42-year-old medical doctor and politician scored 2,146 votes to beat his closest rival, politician Andy Uba, who scored 931 votes.
The Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, announced the result in Awka on Sunday after the keenly contested primary by 11 candidates for the November 18 governorship election.
It is hard time for him and his supporters; after a bruising primary process marked by controversy and bickering, Senator Andy Uba, who represents Anambra South, lost his desperate bid to be the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 2017 governorship tussle in Anambra State.

Although his media team, according to The Authoritynews, claims that no one has been declared a winner in the just concluded APC primary election in quote.
