UPP clears two candidates against Anambra Guber
The United Progressives Party (UPP) has cleared the Former House of Representatives member, Hon. Chudi Offodile and ex-Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka, at the weekend scaled the hurdle to contest the party primaries ahead of the November 18 governorship election of Anambra state.

The two aspirants were cleared by a seven-man screening panel headed by the party’s National Secretary, Alhaji Sadeeq Masalla, who adjudged them fit for the primaries holding at Awka, the state capital on August 19, having fulfilled the requirements.
Hon. Offodile told Daily Sun shortly after his screening which lasted for about 1hr and 15mins, at the party headquarters Abuja that the process was quite engaging, saying he looked forward to an exciting contest where with God he will emerge victorious.
