Nigeria Independence: Aisha Buhari admonishes Nigerian women

Celebrating Nigeria’s 57th year of Independence, the wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari has urged Nigerian women to champion unity as a means of national development among different ethics groups in Nigeria.

According to Vanguard report, Mrs. Buhari gave the advice on Sunday through her tweeter handle in commemoration of Nigeria’s 57th independence anniversary in Abuja.

She also advised women, as mothers, to always encourage their children to be proactive by appreciating the country’s diversity. ” As Nigeria marks 57th independence anniversary, I urge women as mothers to be the champions of national unity by encouraging our children to be proactive and embrace our diversity. ” We should also continue to pray for a nation bound in peace and unity” she said.
