Omus celebrates 'Iri ji ohuru' with Akwa Ihedi Traditional Ruler

The CEO of Omus groups, and T C of Nnewi South LGA, Chief Felix Odimegwu joined the Traditional Ruler of Akwaihedi Ebeteghete kingdom HRH Igwe JOC Onebunne and the people of Akwaihedi to celebrate their new yam festival at the Igwe's palace on the 24th of August 2017.

New yam festival (Iri ji Ohuru) is an annual Igbo cultural festival that is used to celebrate the arrival of new yam, and thank Chukwu Abiama for a successful planting season. It is an Igbo tradition that has been and will continue to be. It is an encouragement that people like Omus supports Igbo culture and tradition.
