Parents allow your Children to pursue their passion

Following the buyout of Neymar Jnr by PSG from Barcelona for the price of 222million Euro, I cry out to Nigerian parents to please allow their children to pursue their dream, instead of bending them into what you want them to be, maybe because of some selfish interests or past experience.

African parents, especially our own Nigerian parents, see some innate skills in their developing children as void, and a no-go-area. They frustrate the skills in these children and switch them into some things they think are best maybe because of peer influence.

 Instead of killing those skills and spirits, help them become professionals in them and go places, instead of pushing them into other things that do not move their fantasy. It is now obvious that education is not or no longer the key to success, rather a developed skill.

Mehnnn, this Neymar’s gist bursts my brain, especially when I see some football talents wasting in Nigeria.
